The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has donated a siren system to Panfokrom Technical Institute to enhance time management and discipline among students. The formal presentation was held on May 22, 2025, at UEW’s Council Chamber, affirming a growing partnership focused on education and mutual development.
Mr. Jeremiah Addison Anyan, UEW’s Deputy Registrar of Operations, noted the donation was in response to a formal request, and installation would be completed the same day. Prof. Frimpong Kaakyire Duku, Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor, emphasized the siren’s role in fostering time-consciousness and preparing students for the structured environment of university life.
Mr. Eric Antwi, leading the Panfokrom delegation, expressed gratitude for UEW’s prompt support and highlighted ongoing student-led initiatives at the institute. He expressed hope for future collaborations with UEW. As part of the agreement, UEW plans to inspect the system post-installation to evaluate its impact.
The donation marks the beginning of a strategic partnership and reflects UEW’s commitment to supporting educational growth beyond its own campuses.
