The Ghana Local Chinese Language Teacher Training Programme was held at UCC to build local capacity in Chinese instruction. Organized by the Confucius Institute, the event highlighted growing Ghana-China collaboration. Prof. Emmanuel Amo Ofori stressed Chinese proficiency as key to global opportunities. Dr. Juliette Otami encouraged teachers to stay committed and globally aware. Prof. Kwame Kwarteng and Gustav Cobbinah Atu also praised the initiative, emphasizing its role in fostering international cooperation. The program aims to equip Ghanaian educators with skills to teach Chinese and enhance diplomatic and educational ties with China.
