UG, GNCCI Launch Junior Chamber to Drive Student Entrepreneurship
The University of Ghana, in partnership with the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), has launched the UG-GNCCI Junior Chamber—a pioneering initiative to equip students with entrepreneurial skills and real-world business experience.
Spearheaded by the Careers and Counselling Centre, the program offers mentorship, internships, business support, and practical training to nurture student innovators. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo emphasized its alignment with the university’s strategic goals, urging students to seize the opportunity.
Guest speaker Hon. Julius Debrah and GNCCI President Stephane Miezan stressed the importance of youth-led entrepreneurship in national development. A formal MoU was signed, solidifying both institutions’ commitment to building Ghana’s next generation of business leaders.
