The University of Cape Coast School of Business (SoB) has launched its 50th Anniversary celebrations under the theme “Expanding the Frontiers of Business Excellence.” The event gathered alumni, students, and stakeholders to honor the School’s legacy and future goals.
Keynote speaker Hon. Seth Terkper, former Finance Minister, emphasized the need for innovation in business education, urging faculty to influence policy and not just academia. The Vice-Chancellor, via Prof. Kwame Osei Kwarteng, praised the School’s national and global impact.
Acting Dean Prof. Samuel Kwaku Agyei highlighted the School’s growth to over 6,000 students and called for sustained support. Prof. John Gartchie Gatsie and MP Dr. Kwamena Nyarku also pledged support. The launch kicks off a series of events, including lectures, health screening, and a fundraising durbar.
