SGS and Sam Jonah Library Train Graduate Students on E-Resources
The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) at the University of Cape Coast, in collaboration with the Sam Jonah Library, held a training workshop to help new graduate students effectively use electronic resources for research and academic success.
University Librarian Dr. Mac-Anthony Cobblah emphasized the importance of technical research skills and noted that library resources are accessible even off-campus. Dr. Imoro Osman guided students on accessing e-resources, using Turnitin, and managing references.
Mr. Kwasi Opuni Karikari demonstrated how to use Mendeley for organizing citations, while Mr. Gabriel Assamah explained online thesis submission and using the SGS portal. The workshop aimed to boost students’ research output and enhance UCC’s academic contributions.
