DRIC equips Faculty with Grant Proposal Writing Skills
The Directorate of Research Innovation and Consultancy (DRIC), in partnership with KNUST’s Human Resource Directorate, held a two-day grantsmanship workshop to sharpen faculty skills in writing grant proposals. Topics included research impact, sustainability of funds, budgeting, and intellectual property. Speakers like Prof. Francis Annor and Dr. Brandford Bervell emphasized making research socially impactful and sustaining projects beyond their funding period. Mr. Isaac Nketsiah highlighted protecting innovations through IP rights. Participants engaged in practical sessions and proposal presentations. Attendees praised the workshop for its hands-on learning and its role in building a new generation of grant-ready academics.
