UHAS and Sightsavers International Launch Collaborative Research on Neglected Tropical Diseases
Ho, Ghana – June 23, 2025 – The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) Neglected Tropical Diseases Research Group (@UHAS_NTD) at UHAS (@UHASGhana) successfully held a kick-off meeting today with partners following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sightsavers International. The agreement marks a significant step forward in collaborative research aimed at combating Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs).
The meeting brought together researchers, stakeholders, and representatives from both UHAS and Sightsavers International to outline the roadmap for joint initiatives. The collaboration will focus on advancing research, innovation, and interventions to address the burden of NTDs in Ghana and beyond.
