Youth Minister, Italian Ambassador pay courtesy call on UPSA Vice-Chancellor
The Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare Addo, and Italian Ambassador Laura Ranall visited the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), where Vice-Chancellor Prof. John K. Mawutor highlighted key initiatives, including a faculty-authored textbook project and a student entrepreneurship drive. These efforts aim to promote practical education, reduce reliance on foreign materials, and boost youth employability. The Italian Ambassador praised UPSA’s vision and revealed ongoing Ghana-Italy collaborations on skills training. The Minister commended UPSA’s focus on entrepreneurship and pledged government support through initiatives like the Adwumawura program.
