FirstBank Ghana has donated GHS100,000 to support the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA)’s faculty-authored textbook project. The initiative aims to develop locally written academic textbooks featuring Ghanaian business case studies, reducing reliance on foreign materials. At a brief ceremony on June 20, 2025, FirstBank’s MD, Mr. Victor Yaw Asante, praised the project as “innovative and laudable,” pledging continued support. UPSA’s Registrar, Mrs. Lorraine Gyan, and Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Samuel Antwi expressed gratitude and affirmed the university’s commitment to producing high-quality, homegrown content.
