IRID-KsTU Launches 2025 National Quiz to Drive Environmental Sustainability Among Senior High Schools
Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), through its Institute of Research, Innovation and Development (IRID), has launched the 2025 National Quiz on Garbage Sorting and Environmental Sustainability. Backed by the Ghana Skills Development Fund and partners like CTVET, the initiative aims to instill environmental responsibility and practical skills in youth. The quiz, featuring 34 SHSs in the Ashanti Region, is a flagship activity promoting sustainability education. Speakers, including KsTU Pro VC Prof. Abena Obiri-Yeboah and IRID Director Prof. Smart Sarpong, highlighted the need for green innovation, curriculum integration, and community involvement. The project demonstrates how research and education can drive sustainable change.
