Dr. Michael Kwame Mickson appointed Ag. Dean of UPSA Graduate School
The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has announced the appointment of Dr Michael Kwame Mickson as the new Acting Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (SOGS).
Dr. Mickson succeeds Prof. George Agbemabiese, who is currently on a leave of absence. He becomes the fifth Dean to occupy the distinguished position since the establishment of the Graduate School.
His appointment is expected to further strengthen the SOGS’s commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and innovation.
Dr. Mickson brings to the position a wealth of experience as a seasoned educationist and human resource practitioner.
With a diverse professional background spanning banking, oil marketing, hospitality, and HR consultancy, he has earned a reputation for building efficient systems and developing talent across various sectors.
Currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at UPSA, Dr Mickson teaches courses in Organisational Behaviour, Innovation and Change Management, Corporate Governance, and Advanced Human Resource Management.
He is also a consultant for reputable institutions such as the Bank of Ghana, COCOBOD, and the FDA. He has facilitated training programs for a broad range of organisations across West Africa.
His leadership is expected to strengthen the University’s mission of producing highly skilled, industry-ready graduates.
