Ivy Heward-Mills, Director of the Centre for International Education and Collaboration (CIEC) at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), was named PR Executive of the Year and received the Outstanding Women in Leadership Award at the 2025 Ghana Executive Awards.
With over 20 years of experience in public relations, branding, and stakeholder engagement, she leads UPSA’s internationalisation efforts, fostering global partnerships and enhancing the university’s global profile. A certified John Maxwell leadership coach, she is renowned for her expertise in crisis communication and organisational growth.
UPSA Vice-Chancellor Prof. John K. M. Mawutor praised her leadership and impact. The Ghana Executive Awards recognise innovation and influence in leadership. Earlier, Heward-Mills was also named among Ghana’s Top 10 Women in Public Relations for 2024 by Women in PR Ghana.
