UG Restricts Commercial Photography to Designated Area During July 2026 Congregation

The University of Ghana (UG) has restricted commercial photography activities during its July 2026 Congregation to the Recreational Quadrangle behind the Balme Library.

The directive forms part of measures to ensure order, safety, and the smooth organisation of the graduation ceremonies. Commercial photographers have been instructed to operate only within the designated area, while graduates and guests are expected to comply with the University’s arrangements throughout the congregation period.

University authorities have urged all photographers and members of the public to adhere to the directive to help maintain a conducive environment during the ceremonies.
