The outgoing Executive Committee of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) Ghana Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Students' Association (GANDSA) has donated teaching and learning equipment valued at GH¢11,000 to the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics.
The items, which include a projector, HemoCue devices, BIA machines, blood pressure monitors, stadiometers, skinfold calipers, a food scale and height measuring tools, are expected to enhance practical training and improve students' learning experience.
Receiving the donation, Acting Dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences, Prof. Fidelis Kpodo, commended the students for the gesture, noting that the equipment would strengthen professional training and support the development of skilled nutrition and dietetics practitioners.
