UHAS-SRC Academic Committee Engages Volta Regional Minister to Strengthen Student Opportunities
The Academic Committee of the University of Health and Allied Sciences Students’ Representative Council has engaged the Volta Regional Minister as part of efforts to enhance academic and leadership development opportunities for students.

During the engagement, the Committee presented a citation to the Minister in recognition of his contribution to an Academic and Leadership Seminar held by the SRC.

The interaction also provided a platform for discussions on key student development areas, including mentorship, internship and industrial attachment opportunities, youth empowerment, research collaboration, and strategic partnerships aimed at improving student outcomes.

According to the Committee, the engagement forms part of its broader commitment to creating meaningful connections between students and stakeholders in academia, government and industry. It emphasized that such partnerships are essential in equipping students with practical experience, professional networks and leadership skills beyond the classroom.

The Committee further noted that it remains focused on initiatives that promote academic excellence and long-term personal and professional growth for students of UHAS.
