The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) has donated three repurposed vehicles to selected administrative units of the University of Ghana to enhance efficiency and improve operational mobility.
The donation, made under the leadership of the Dean of UGBS, Prof. Ernest Tweneboah-Koduah, includes two Toyota Avensis and one Toyota Hilux. The vehicles were presented to the Human Resource and Organisational Development Directorate, the Student Financial Aid Office, and the University Archives to support their daily administrative activities.
The ceremony took place on June 3, 2026, at the forecourt of the UGBS parking lot and brought together key university officials, including the Registrar of the University of Ghana, Mrs. Emelia Naa Kwantsua Agyei-Mensah, as well as senior members and staff.
In his remarks, Prof. Tweneboah-Koduah explained that the donation forms part of the Business School’s commitment to supporting the wider university community and improving administrative efficiency. He also urged the beneficiary units to ensure proper maintenance of the vehicles to extend their lifespan.
The Registrar expressed appreciation to UGBS for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful, and encouraged the recipient units to make effective use of the vehicles while taking good care of them.
The event concluded with appreciation messages, photographs, and the official handover of the vehicles to the respective units.
