The University of Cape Coast Students’ Representative Council has provided relief support to students affected by recent flooding incidents, reaffirming its commitment to student welfare and wellbeing.
As part of the intervention, the SRC donated essential food items including rice, milk, gari, eggs, cooking oil, drinks, and sardines to students who were impacted by the floods.
The initiative aims to ease the burden on affected students and provide immediate assistance as they recover from the effects of the disaster.
According to the SRC, the support reflects its dedication to ensuring that students receive the care and assistance they need during difficult times. The Council emphasised the importance of solidarity, compassion, and collective support within the university community.
The SRC further assured students of its continued commitment to prioritising their welfare and responding to challenges that affect their academic and personal wellbeing.
