A second-year Communication Design student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Faustina Eduah, has been selected as the winner of the University’s 75th Anniversary Logo Design Competition.
Her design was chosen as the official emblem for the anniversary celebrations after emerging as the top entry among submissions from students and alumni. She was also the only female finalist in the competition.
For her achievement, Faustina received a cash prize of GH¢10,000 and KNUST memorabilia during a presentation ceremony attended by the University’s leadership.
University officials indicated that the winning logo was selected based on creativity, relevance to the anniversary theme, and its ability to capture KNUST’s journey and vision.
Speaking after receiving the award, Faustina expressed pride in contributing to a historic milestone for the University and encouraged fellow students to take advantage of opportunities that showcase their talents and creativity.
The winning logo will serve as the official symbol for KNUST’s 75th Anniversary celebrations, scheduled to be launched on June 24, 2026, under the theme, “From Excellence to Eminence: 75 Years of KNUST.”
