The Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) election process has come under legal challenge after an aspirant, Prince Boakye of Enchi College of Education, filed a suit at the Circuit Court in Duayaw Nkwanta seeking to halt the exercise over alleged exclusion.
Court documents show that the applicant is asking for an order to restrain the Election Committee, NEC, NEO, and other TTAG bodies from proceeding with the vetting and elections without his inclusion.
The process had been scheduled with vetting set for May 16, 2026, at St. Joseph College of Education, Bechem, while the main election was expected to take place on May 17, 2026.
The applicant argues that proceeding without his participation could affect fairness and credibility, and is therefore seeking court intervention pending determination of the case.
