UG Opens Window for Student Bio Data Corrections for 2025/2026 Academic Year

The Academic Affairs Directorate, University of Ghana has announced a correction window for student biographical particulars for the 2025/2026 academic year, urging all affected students, especially those preparing for National Service, to take advantage of the period to rectify errors in their records.

According to the notice, the application window opens on Thursday, 30th April 2026 and closes on Friday, 5th June 2026. The Directorate explained that this special concession has been made for students who were unable to request corrections during the earlier stipulated period at the beginning of the academic year.

Students who still have discrepancies in their personal details have been strongly advised to submit their applications before the deadline, as no requests will be entertained after the closing date.

All applications must be sent to the Director of Academic Affairs via [email protected] using the official University of Ghana student email address, along with all required supporting documents to validate the corrections.

The Directorate further clarified that only students officially registered for the 2025/2026 academic year are eligible to apply. Requests from unregistered students, graduates, or third parties will not be considered under any circumstances.

It also emphasized that the exercise is strictly for correcting errors in existing records and not for making changes to personal information beyond documented mistakes.

The notice, signed by Lydia Anowa Nyako-Danquah (Mrs.), Director of Academic Affairs, stressed the importance of prompt compliance, warning that failure to act within the given period will mean forfeiture of the opportunity to make corrections.
