Republic Bank Reaffirms Partnership with University of Ghana
Republic Bank Ghana has reaffirmed its partnership with the University of Ghana during a courtesy visit by a delegation led by the bank’s Group Chair, Yashmid Karamath.

Welcoming the delegation, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Gordon Awandare, described Republic Bank as one of the university’s key strategic partners, highlighting its support for infrastructure development and collaborative initiatives.

Dean of the University of Ghana Business School, Ernest Yaw Tweneboah-Koduah, disclosed that the UGBS Lecture Hall Phase II project sponsored by the bank is about 99 percent complete, with furnishing remaining as the final stage of the project.

He also revealed that Republic Bank has agreed to construct the road around the UGBS Graduate School Block as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, with the facility expected to be commissioned by the end of June 2026.

Head of the Department of Finance at UGBS, Vera Fiador, commended the bank for its support and collaborative approach throughout the project.
