The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has organised a three-day training workshop for campus security personnel aimed at strengthening professionalism, communication and service delivery.
Speaking during the workshop, the Head of the Security Section, Col. (Rtd) Joseph K. Baah-Tsiquaye, emphasised the need for officers to remain disciplined and uphold values such as honesty, integrity, competence and respect in carrying out their responsibilities.
He urged personnel to maintain high professional standards and avoid actions that could damage the image of the Security Section, stressing that good conduct helps build trust and confidence among the university community.
The workshop also featured sessions on customer service, customer relations and effective communication to equip participants with practical skills for better engagement with students, staff and stakeholders on campus.
Organisers noted that the training forms part of efforts to improve service delivery and promote a safe and supportive environment within the university community.
