Ghana’s Ministry of Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Google for Education to strengthen the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital technologies within the country’s education system.
The agreement was signed by Haruna Iddrisu and Kelvin Kells as part of efforts to enhance teaching and learning through innovation and technology-driven solutions.
The partnership is expected to improve digital literacy, strengthen teacher capacity and equip students with future-ready skills needed in an increasingly digital and technology-focused world.
The initiative also reflects government efforts to modernise education through global partnerships aimed at preparing Ghanaian learners for emerging opportunities in the digital economy.
