The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BR Institute to strengthen entrepreneurship education, innovation development, and industry collaboration.
The agreement, signed on Monday, 6th July 2026, is aimed at creating more opportunities for students and young professionals to develop entrepreneurial skills, transform innovative ideas into sustainable ventures, and gain practical exposure to industry.
The partnership forms part of UPSA’s commitment to producing graduates who are not only employable but also capable of creating businesses, solving real-world challenges, and contributing to national development.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, UPSA Vice-Chancellor Prof. John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor emphasised the importance of developing an entrepreneurial mindset among students. He said the University is strengthening its academic environment to encourage innovation, enterprise creation, and solution-driven learning.
