Scholarship Overview
The KNUST Bursary for the 2026/2027 academic year is designed to support brilliant but financially needy students pursuing full-time undergraduate programmes at KNUST. The bursary provides financial assistance for one academic year to help students continue their education successfully.
Eligibility & Requirements

Applicants must be regular Ghanaian students enrolled in full-time programmes at KNUST. Final-year students are not eligible. Fee-paying and parallel students are not eligible to apply.
Continuing students who are already receiving another scholarship or bursary exceeding GHS 1,500.00 are not eligible. Applicants must have a Cumulative Weighted Average (CWA) of at least 67.
For first-year students, only those with a WASSCE aggregate of 9 or better may apply. However, final consideration will depend on their first-semester results.
Applicants are required to submit the following documents: a completed application form signed and stamped by a referee, evidence of student loan application (agreement document), a statement of need, admission letter, academic result slips (for continuing students), WASSCE results, and any awards or certificates (photocopies only).
All documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the applicant’s details clearly indicated. Applicants must also complete the online registration before submitting their documents.
