Selected candidates are placed in top Korean universities across a wide range of academic fields. The program aims to promote international exchange and strengthen global competitiveness in education. Since 2016, over 104,000 international students have benefited from this scholarship. Applicants can apply through: • The Korean Embassy in their country, OR • Directly to a participating Korean university ⸻ ⏱ Program Duration • Master’s Program: 3 years • 1 year Korean language training • 2 years degree program • PhD Program: 4 years • 1 year Korean language training • 3 years degree program • Research Program: 6 months ⸻ 🎁 Benefits / Funds Covered • Full Tuition Fees (covered by the government) • Return Airfare Ticket • Settlement Allowance: 200,000 KRW (one-time) • Monthly Allowance: • 900,000 KRW (Degree programs) • 1,500,000 KRW (Research programs) • Korean Language Training (1 year fully funded) • Research Allowance: • 210,000 KRW (Arts & Social Sciences) • 240,000 KRW (Science & Engineering) • Thesis/Dissertation Printing Support • Medical Insurance: 55,630 KRW/month • Degree Completion Grant: 100,000 KRW • Korean Proficiency Grant: 100,000 KRW/month

Eligibility & Requirements

    Open to all international students (Non-Korean citizens only) • Must be under 40 years of age • Master’s Applicants: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent • PhD Applicants: Must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent • Research Applicants: Must have invitation from a Korean university • Must be in good physical and mental health • Must not have previously received a Korean government scholarship ⸻ 📄 Required Documents • Recommendation Letters • Academic Transcripts (attested) • Statement of Purpose • Certificates/Awards (if any) • Proof of Language Proficiency • Medical Assessment Form • Any research publications (if applicable) ⸻ 🧠 Application Process There are two application tracks: 1.
