Degree Level Master’s (Taught) Available Subjects The scholarship is available for selected STEM-related master’s programs within: Science Faculty Departments Department of Archaeology (MSc in Bioarchaeology, Forensic Archaeology and Anthropology, Human Bioarchaeology and Palaeopathology) Department of Geography (MSc in Climate, Risk and Society; MSc in Environmental Hazards and Risks) Benefits The Hatfield Lioness Scholarship provides financial support worth approximately £15,000, which typically covers: Full tuition fees Living expenses Accommodation at Hatfield College This scholarship enables talented women from lower-income backgrounds to pursue a master’s degree in the UK without financial burden.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
Meet English language requirements
Be a citizen of a non-Western country
Apply for a taught master’s program in an eligible STEM subject
Demonstrate strong academic performance
Show financial need (from a lower-income background)
Demonstrate leadership qualities and commitment to contributing positively to their home country
Applicants may apply before receiving an offer; however, the selected candidate must secure admission before the academic year begins.
