Job Description
The Peri-Operative Nurse will provide specialized nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting in the operating theater and surgical ward.
• Managing patient care in the recovery room.
• Ensuring sterile environments and maintaining surgical equipment standards.
• Coordinating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) with a Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Licensing: Must have a valid license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Specialization: Additional Perioperative / Theatre Nursing certification is a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience.
• Clinical Preference: Previous experience in an operating theatre, surgical ward, or recovery room is highly preferred.
