Job Description
Zonda Tech Ghana Limited is seeking a Procurement Assistant to support procurement and logistics operations, with a particular focus on customs clearance, freight forwarding, port operations, and inbound consignments. The successful candidate will prepare and verify import documentation, process customs entries through the ICUMS system, coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders and clearing agents, and proactively resolve customs and documentation issues to prevent supply chain disruptions. The role also involves monitoring consignment movements, minimizing demurrage, detention and storage charges, and tracking Electronic Travel Authorization requirements for visiting technicians or executives where applicable. Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates should have three to five years of proven experience in customs clearing, freight forwarding, and port operations in Ghana, preferably within the automotive, manufacturing, or heavy equipment industry. Applicants must have in-depth working knowledge of Ghana Customs procedures and the ICUMS system, as well as a strong understanding of import and export processes, shipping documentation, Incoterms, and duty calculations
