Job Description
MultiSoft Solutions is seeking an Accounts Officer to support its finance function by maintaining accurate and timely financial records while ensuring compliance with Ghanaian statutory requirements. The successful candidate will manage accounts payable and receivable, maintain the general ledger, process journal entries, perform bank, supplier, customer, and petty cash reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end financial closing activities. The role also involves preparing management reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, supporting statutory filings including GRA taxes and SSNIT submissions, maintaining IFRS-compliant financial records, implementing internal controls, supporting audits, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and cost allocation. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, excellent attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, and the ability to meet reporting deadlines while maintaining confidentiality. Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Progress toward a professional qualification such as ICA Ghana, ACCA, or CIMA will be an added advantage. Candidates must have at least three years of relevant post-national service experience in accounting or finance. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in accounting software such as SAP or Sage, possess intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, and have a working knowledge of IFRS, GRA tax obligations, and SSNIT processes. Candidates should also demonstrate analytical accuracy, attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, effective time management, integrity, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
