Internship Overview
The Max Planck Institute Law Internship 2026–2027 is a paid international internship designed for undergraduate and graduate law students interested in comparative public law, European law, and international law. The program provides participants with practical legal research experience in one of the world’s leading academic institutions in international law. Eligibility & Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate law-related program and must demonstrate strong academic performance. Applicants must have good research and writing skills and must be proficient in English, both written and spoken. Applicants with knowledge of German or other European languages will have an added advantage. Applicants must be able to participate in academic research activities and must be willing to work in a structured research environment involving international legal studies.
