Internship Overview
The INTERPOL Internships 2026 in France offer international students and graduates the opportunity to gain practical work experience within one of the world’s largest international police organizations. The internship programme is designed to help participants understand international police cooperation and develop professional skills through real-world assignments in policing services and support services including communications, strategic planning, and human resources. Most internship positions are based at INTERPOL headquarters in Lyon, France, although opportunities may also be available at other duty stations. Interns work alongside professionals from member countries and contribute to projects related to international security, crime prevention, and organizational support. Applicants are required to apply online through the INTERPOL Recruitment Hub and must submit a cover letter explaining their motivation, interest, and expectations for the internship.

Applicants must be nationals of one of INTERPOL’s member countries and must have reached the legal age of majority in their country of nationality. Applicants must either be enrolled in a post-secondary accredited academic institution or have graduated within one year before the application date. Applicants must be fluent in English and must meet the specific requirements listed for each internship opening. Applicants must also be willing to undergo a confidentiality vetting process and provide certificates of non-criminal records if selected. Candidates are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, and visa expenses although INTERPOL provides supporting visa documentation.
