The University of Cape Coast (UCC), through its Students’ Financial Support Office (StuFSO), has awarded full scholarships to 332 brilliant but needy students for the 2024/25 academic year. The scholarships cover full tuition fees across various programmes and academic levels.
At the award ceremony themed “Transforming Potential into Performance,” Dr. Samuel Kwesi Nkansah urged beneficiaries to excel academically, avoid social vices, and embrace entrepreneurship and innovation. Dean of Students Affairs, Prof. Daniel Apaak, encouraged students to stay disciplined, focused, and committed to making their families and communities proud.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, highlighting the timely support. An Awardees Symposium was also held to build the capacities of recipients, featuring speakers from UCC’s School of Business, Faculty of Educational Foundations, and Campus Broadcasting Service.
