UPSA Faculty of Accounting and Finance to host national dialogue on tackling tax revenue leakages in Ghana
The Faculty of Accounting and Finance (FAF) at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) will host a national dialogue on tax revenue leakages in Ghana on Monday, 19th May 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kofi Ohene-Konadu Auditorium.

The event, chaired by His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and featuring former President John Agyekum Kufuor as a guest of honour, will bring together key stakeholders from government, academia, industry, and civil society.

According to Prof. Isaac Boadi, Dean of FAF, the dialogue aims to address the persistent issue of tax leakages that hinder Ghana’s economic growth, with the goal of producing actionable policy recommendations.

The program will feature keynote presentations and panel discussions from experts including Prof. Boadi and Eric Boachie Yiadom, a financial economist and senior lecturer at UPSA. The event is open to the public, particularly students, researchers, and finance professionals.
