UG Law Students Attend National Security Seminar at Columbia
Students from the University of Ghana School of Law offering MA/LLM programmes in National Security Law and Practice are at the Columbia Law School in New York for a one-week professional National Security Law seminar as part of the spring and summer seminars.
This is aimed at helping students gain an understanding of the U.S. legal institutions, policies and practices related to the national security field.
The seminar features surveys and classroom instruction on surveillance and cybersecurity law, the use of force under international law (including international humanitarian law) and the treatment of counterterrorism under U.S. domestic law.
