CES Honours 277 First-Class Students at Deans’ Award Ceremony
The College of Education Studies at the University of Cape Coast held an award ceremony themed “Celebrating Academic Distinction: Inspiring Future Educators”, honoring 277 First Class students from its three faculties. Each awardee received a certificate, while the overall best students at each level were given plaques and hampers.
Prof. Douglas D. Agyei, Acting Provost, congratulated the students and encouraged them to maintain their excellence and inspire others. He emphasized the importance of nurturing educators who promote critical thinking and integrity.
The keynote speaker, Prof. Jophus Anamuah-Mensah, former Vice-Chancellor of UEW, highlighted the crucial role of educators in nation-building and commended the organizers for promoting academic excellence through the Dean’s Award Ceremony. He called for greater recognition and respect for the teaching profession.
