CES Honours 277 First-Class Students at Deans’ Award Ceremony
The College of Education Studies at the University of Cape Coast held an award ceremony themed “Celebrating Academic Distinction: Inspiring Future Educators”, honoring 277 students who achieved First Class honours. Top performers from each academic level received plaques and hampers in addition to certificates.

The Acting Provost, Prof. Douglas D. Agyei, praised the students for their excellence and encouraged them to uphold high standards and inspire others. He emphasized the need for educators in Ghana who promote critical thinking and integrity.

Prof. Jophus Anamuah-Mensah, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the importance of honoring educators and elevating the teaching profession. He commended the initiative for fostering academic excellence and respect for educators.
