UCC hands over lavatory to Amamoma Community
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has handed over a newly constructed 16-seater public toilet facility to the Amamoma Community.

At the ceremony, Prof. Moses Jojo Eghan, Provost of the College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, emphasized UCC’s commitment to the well-being of surrounding communities, calling the project a symbol of the University’s continued support.

The Sanahen of Amamoma, Nana Essipong I, received the keys on behalf of the community, expressing appreciation and promising proper maintenance of the facility to serve the poor and vulnerable.

He also appealed for a borehole to ensure consistent water supply and reduce reliance on costly water services. The event was attended by UCC officials, traditional leaders, and the local assembly member, Mr. Jacob Kakara Ewusie.
